Park Township does not allow short-term rentals in residentially zoned neighborhoods, and a court has upheld its right to enforce that. Don't count on vacation rental income here.
On Lake Macatawa, ask about seawall condition, dock permits and water depth at the shoreline, and check the FEMA flood map for low lots.
Park Township addresses can read Holland, Beechwood or Macatawa. West Ottawa Public Schools serves much of the township, but confirm the district for each address.
